Whoa. I thought this was going to be like a funny "wildest day ever," not a sad one. Regardless, this is a really well-written post, even if it is sad. The story about Mya adds a nice humorous touch. I especially like the detail about going out to Cora's doghouse every few months to catch her up - I'm sure she appreciates it.
